1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of EasyForms (“the app”). By installing the app on your Shopify store you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
2. What the app does
EasyForms lets you build forms, publish them on your storefront through a theme app block, and manage the submissions you receive. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are the data controller for everything your forms collect. You are responsible for telling your customers what you collect and why, and for having a lawful basis to do so.
- You must not use the app to collect payment card numbers, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive categories of data.
- You must not use the app to send unsolicited messages, or for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, its servers, or other merchants’ data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, or circumvent its rate limits
- Resell or redistribute the app without our written permission
- Reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
5. Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed through Shopify, on your regular Shopify invoice.
- Plan limits — such as the number of forms or monthly submissions — are enforced by the app.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your Shopify admin. Access to paid features ends when the subscription ends.
- Charges already billed are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the app available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of your data. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app erases the data we hold for your store within 48 hours, so export anything you wish to keep beforehand.
8. Third-party services
The app relies on Shopify, and on the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages or changes in those services. Where you enable an optional integration such as reCAPTCHA, that provider’s own terms also apply to you.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost sales or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, or if required to do so by Shopify or by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the app develops. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
